Vic Isaacs won the 1996 Statistician of the Year award, in recognition of his statistical work on Hampshire and limited-overs records over the last 25 years. He was author of the Gillette/NatWest Record Book which was published at the 1997 AGM in Leeds, where former Yorkshire player Kevin Sharp presented him with the award.
Mr Isaacs thanked members and said that he much appreciated the honour the Association had done him by judging him Statistician of the Year, following the footsteps of such an eminent band.
